Mayor Eric Adams said he wants to phase out proof of vaccine requirements for restaurants, bars and other indoor spaces in the next few weeks.

The City began the “Key to NYC” vaccine mandate, last fall, requiring guests to show proof of at least one Covid-19 vaccination to dine indoors.

While NYS has lifted its mandate mask, NYC has kept its vaccine mandates in place. Mayor Adams said that while he is eager to get rid of the mandates, he will continue to follow the science.
